Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Manebhanjan – The Gateway to Sandakphu

Your journey begins as we pick you up from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and drive you to Manebhanjan, the starting point of the Sandakphu route. After check-in at your hotel or homestay, explore the small hill town — where adventure meets calm. You can visit the Land Rover stand, meet local drivers, and enjoy the stunning views of the valley below. In the evening, enjoy a warm local dinner and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Overnight stay: Manebhanjan / Tumling

Day 2: Manebhanjan to Sandakphu – The Legendary Land Rover Ride

After breakfast, your Himalayan thrill begins! Hop into a vintage Land Rover (the same sturdy ones used since the 1950s) for a bumpy yet unforgettable ride through Singalila National Park. Pass through Chitrey, Meghma, Tumling, Gairibas, Kaiyakatta, and Kalipokhri — every stop offering scenic beauty and crisp mountain breeze. The last stretch to Sandakphu is steep and rugged, but the reward is unmatched — a 180° panoramic view of the Sleeping Buddha Range and distant Everest peaks. Enjoy tea or a local meal at your mountain lodge, and if the sky is clear, watch one of the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see.

Overnight stay: Sandakphu Mountain Lodge / Homestay

Day 3: Sandakphu Sunrise & Departure

Wake up before dawn to witness the famous Sandakphu sunrise — the Kanchenjunga range glowing gold and pink in the morning light. It’s a moment travelers remember forever. After breakfast, begin your descent via Land Rover (or trek down if you prefer a light hike) through the forested trail back to Manebhanjan. From there, our cab will drop you comfortably at NJP or Bagdogra, marking the end of your Himalayan adventure, but not the memories.

Trip Ends with Milsang’s signature warmth and smiles.
